TriCore Academy understands the unique educational needs of Chinese families in the Netherlands. We offer specialised multi-level support for primary, secondary, and international school students.
Our expert tutors provide targeted guidance in Dutch, mathematics, and English to help students improve their grades, strengthen core skills, and confidently progress to higher education.
Course I
Dutch Primary School Core Competency Enhancement Programme
In the Dutch primary school groep 6-8, many transfer students experience the triple problem of not being able to understand the class, not being able to read the questions and not being able to write the answers.
TriCore Academy combines real classroom progress with original teaching resources to help students consolidate their core reading and maths skills, solving the fundamental problem of "understanding non-native language instruction" and allowing children to gradually go from understanding to being able to do to being able to express themselves.
Suitable for the type of student
- groep 6th-8th graders
- Need for remediation in core subjects
- Families planning to go on to higher education and wanting their children to have a smooth transition to the secondary school curriculum
Common Pain Points for Parents

Course II
Dutch Secondary School Subject Enhancement Programme (HAVO/VWO)
In the Dutch secondary schools (HAVO/VWO), where students' performance in each subject contributes to the end-of-year assessment and directly determines whether or not they will be promoted to a higher grade or sit for the entrance exams, TriCore Academy offers a subject-specific enhancement programme, which is dedicated to helping students to identify their weaknesses and solve the problem of 'off-subjects' to ensure that they are able to pass each key assessment and exam. Course III
ISK Language Enhancement Programme
TriCore Academy's ISK language level programme is designed for students who have just entered a Dutch school and have no or weak language skills, and offers a complete language path from A0 to B1. By using real classroom scenarios and real exam questions, we help students to achieve their language level in a shorter period of time and make a smooth transition to the mainstream education system.
Suitable for the type of student
- Students with a language base of A0 to A2 who are aiming for a quick transition to B1.
- Families wishing to enter mainstream Dutch classes as soon as possible
- Students who need effective counselling and targeted training for language exams

Course IV
Dutch International Baccalaureate Support Programme (IB / A Level)
For students entering the IB or A Level international programme system, the language transition and academic competency transfer can be a major challenge, and TriCore Academy provides in-depth language, academic writing and exam training to help students make the transition smoothly and build long-term academic competency.

- Students new to the IB or A Level programme system
- Students who need academic English writing and critical thinking reinforcement
- Those who are preparing for the International School Entrance Examination (written and interview).
